Week of October 2-6
As we finally finish up our standardized testing today, here are the skills we will be working on in class:
Spelling- week 6 spelling skill- words with the long e sound with a variety of spellings. The packet is due Thursday and the test is Friday.
Social Studies- We will be diving back into our study of Africa. We finished up our study of the physical features of the land and the important vocabulary with a quiz last week, but now we will use that as we dive deeper into the history of early African civilizations, trade, etc.
English- We will begin learning about personal narratives and begin preparing to write our own next week. The personal narrative writing piece will be finished on Thursday, October 19th.
