Advent
Our class attended the advent wreath blessing! They did a fantastic job! Wishing everyone a blessed Advent season!
Winter Week
This week we learned all about winter weather! Although it is still fall, it sure feels like winter out there! The students played with "snow" in the sensory bin, colored winter coloring sheets, painted winter trees, and participated in a variety of science experiments and STEM activities! The students were engineers and built snowflakes and igloos with marshmallows and toothpicks! Snowstorm in a jar science experiment! Melting Snowman science experiment! The students got to see the chemical reaction that occurs when vinegar and baking soda are mixed!
Thanksgiving Week
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Over the last week and a half, we have been discussing what it means to be thankful! The students read many thanksgiving books, wrote thanksgiving words, made thankful turkeys, learned about the First Thanksgiving with a beaded bracelet, and much more! We even had a yummy "Thanksgiving" meal for lunch one day! I am so thankful for all my sweet students and all of the fun we have learning each day!
