Thank you for letting us celebrate your birthday with you!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Over the last week and a half, we have been discussing what it means to be thankful! The students read many thanksgiving books, wrote thanksgiving words, made thankful turkeys, learned about the First Thanksgiving with a beaded bracelet, and much more! We even had a yummy "Thanksgiving" meal for lunch one day! I am so thankful for all my sweet students and all of the fun we have learning each day!

This afternoon we met with our 8th grade buddies to decorate  placemats for the "World Day of the Poor" dinner that is being held here at our parish on   Sunday, November 18th! They did such nice artwork on the placemats! We even had some extra time to read with our buddies! What a great afternoon it was!

This week we learned about different types of transportation on land, in the air, and in water. The students built roads in the sensory bin and with blocks. They played in a pretend airplane in the dramatic play center and "flew" to many different places! We also were engineers and built boats with a variety of materials to see if they would float or sink. It was such a fun week of exploration!
