In celebration of Johnny Appleseed Day, each student got to make their own apple pie and we ate them for our afternoon snack!

Last week we filled up our positive behavior jar and celebrated with popcorn and a movie! We used our five senses to describe the popcorn to practice the skills we learned about throughout the week!

Today we tried a couple different foods to learn about taste. Baker's chocolate was a definite "No" from many for its bitter taste. We saw some funny faces from the sour lemons. The regular chocolate kisses and pretzels were big hits for sweet and salty tastes! It was fun trying new things and learning about the different tastes foods can have!

Today we got to meet our 8th grade buddies and we had popsicles on the playground! We look forward to doing more activities with them throughout the year!

After learning all about God's creations over the past two weeks, we went on a Creation Scavenger Hunt today! They did a great job spying all of God's amazing creations on the playground!
